Hangzhou (IINA) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi held talks with his French counterpart Francois Hollande on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in the Chinese city of Hangzhou on Monday. The talks dealt with the latest regional and international developments, particularly the Palestinian cause.
Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency Ambassador Alaa Yousef said the two sides discussed the international efforts and initiatives to revive the Palestinian-Israeli peace process. They also discussed the latest developments in some crisis-hit countries in the region, especially Syria and Libya, where both leaders agreed on a vision for importance of strengthening the international efforts to reach political solutions to these crises in order to ensure preservation of the unity and sovereignty of those countries and their territorial integrity. They further reviewed the bilateral cooperation between Egypt and France, which witnessed development and growth over the last period.
