Washington (IINA) – Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to the United States Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki on Friday paid a visit to the Islamic Center of Washington.
The ambassador toured the sections of the center, accompanied by its Director Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Khoj, and the deputy head of the Kingdom's mission in the United States.
In a press statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ambassador urged the director to pay more attention towards promoting the center's activities, especially those highlight the tolerance of Islam, asserting the embassy's keenness on backing up such acts, in a way that reflect the reality of Islam as a religion for peace and tolerance among different nations.
For his part, Khoj hailed the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the crown prince and the deputy crown prince for the center and their endeavor to best serve Muslims and Islamic cause, all over the world, in order to spread the moderate Islam, as the mainstream of the true Islam.
