Gaza (Ina) - The Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees "UNRWA" announced in the Gaza Strip, on Sunday (May 29th / May 2016) its intention to provide 43 schools affiliated sector new electric generators with support from Fakhura institution in Qatar, estimated at US $ 4,612,022.
she said , "UNRWA" in a statement that during the aggression of the summer of 2014, used the 90 UNRWA schools as centers for emergency shelters for displaced families, who wereforced to flee their homes, and the intensive use of schools as centers of harboring cause to destroy and damage to infrastructure and equipment in them.
she explained, they will be able through this project, the installation of generators in 43 schools, of which 31 were used as evacuation centers.
and showed "UNRWA" that through this project, implement the Agency 's work repairs and maintenance in 43 schools across the Gaza Strip.
