The opening of an Islamic center in the Canadian capital Ottawa, the contribution of Kuwaiti



Ottawa (Ina) - opened in the Canadian capital Ottawa Mosque of Mercy of the Center for Islamic year association donation mainly from Kuwait, and in the presence of the Mayor of Ottawa Jim Watson. 
She said the Kuwaiti embassy in Ottawa said in a statement on Wednesday (May 25, 2016) The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Canada Abdulhamid Ali Failkawi who attended the opening ceremony stressed in aspeech for the occasion that Kuwait represented by the Council of Ministers is the main contributor in the creation of Rahma mosque. 
He added that the mosque serving a large segment of the Muslim community in Ottawa is part of Kuwait 's efforts in supporting humanitarian initiatives and charitable work around the world . 
Failkawi He pointed out that Kuwait calls to establish the concept of moderation and promote tolerance and peaceful coexistence, especially in societies characterized by cultural pluralism , such as Canada ,stressing that Kuwait will continue to support Islamic centers that apply fairness and transparency standards in the collection and disbursement of charitable donations. 
for his part , chairman of the board Islamic year Association Center and mosque of mercy Dr. Mohammad Mustafa management expressed his thanks and appreciation for the generous donation ,which contributed by Kuwait to build Rahma mosque. 
The Center received the occasion of the opening of a letter of support and the support of the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau in conjunction with the close of the holy month of Ramadan. 
and participated in the ceremony , a number of ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries accredited to Canada.
