De Mistura did not expect the resumption of the Syrian negotiations two or three weeks before



GENEVA (Ina) - The special envoy of the UN to Syria , Staffan de Mistura , on Thursday (May 26, 2016) to the Security Council that it does not intend to call for a new round of peace talks on Syria two or three weeks ago, as quoted by diplomats. 
Gave de Mistura offer before the Security Council by video to have reached his mission in Syria, and he reiterated that he wants to definitely call as soon as possible to hold a new round of negotiations. 
but , he insisted that it must be before it can make progress in the implementation of the ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid by the resumption of negotiations between the government and thearmed opposition. 
the move , diplomats attending the meeting that de Mistura pointed to a decline in the rate of violence in general, but that the cessation of hostilities agreement , which was officially approved at the end ofFebruary no longer exists only on paper in many areas. 
and on the delivery of aid humanitarian de Mistura said, according to Agence France - Presse, said that the United Nations needs security guarantees to enable dumping from the air. 
There was yet rounds of Syrian indirect negotiations in Geneva under the auspices of the UN. 
and suspended the second round last April after the withdrawal of delegation the armed opposition ,which accused the regime not to comply with the cease-fire. 
it was de Mistura announced earlier Thursday that large numbers of civilians are threatened with starvation in Syria in case of humanitarian aid does not reach them quickly
