Bahrain: $ 594 million trade deficit in April



Manama (Ina) - The deficit in the trade balance the size of Bahrain during the month of April , 224 million dinars (594 million US dollars), according to a report released Tuesday information form e-government Bahraini on foreign trade of non - oil commodities. 
The report said the value of imports amounted to about 456 million dinars, representing total imports of the top 10 countries , including 83 per cent of thevolume of imports, while imports of the rest of the countries they represent 17 per cent. 
 the report indicated that Switzerland occupies the first place in terms of volume ofimports (156 million dinars), followed by China ( 40 million dinars), while come the UAE ranked third (37 million dinars). 
 the total value of exports, according to the report, about 155 million dinars, representing total exports of the top 10 countries accounted for 82 per cent of thevolume of exports, while the sum of the rest of the states do not exceed 18 per cent only. 
 the report said that Saudi Arabia occupies the first place in terms of the volume ofexports b (30 million dinars) , followed by the United States (20 million dinars), while come the UAE ranked third in b (17 million dinars). the 
 report said that the re - export value amounted to about 77 million dinars, and represents the sum of the top 10 countries that exceed the rate of 96 per cent of re - export volume, while the rest of the countries four per cent of the re - export volume of Vnasibha. 
 comes Saudi Arabia - according to the report - ranked first in terms of the volume of re - exports (49 million dinars) , followed by Kuwait (10 million dinars) and the UAE (7 million dinars).
