Bahrain confirm they are free of disease, "lumpy skin inflammation."



   Manama (Ina) - affirmed Bahrain free of "inflammation of lumpy skin" disease in cattle, said the animal health and Control Department has taken all precautionary and preventive measures necessary to cope with the disease after his appearance in one of the neighboring countries. 
 According to Sheikh Khalifa bin Isa Undersecretary of Agriculture and Marine Resources, said the "censorship and animal health department conducted all veterinary necessary surveys on various cattle farms, which showed the results of a negative presence of lumpy skin inflammatory disease in cows in Bahrain." 
 He stressed that the ministry abreast put "inflammation of lumpy skin" disease in the region and the world through communication with the competent authorities territories and internationally so as to find out the latest developments and recommendations on thedisease. 
 it is said that "lumpy skin inflammation" is a contagious viral disease that affects the bovine species, but it is not contagious to humans.
