Arab Cities Conference recommends the development of strategies to achieve human development



 Manama (Ina) - issued a 17 - year conference of the Arab Towns Organization, at theconclusion of its meeting in Manama today (May 30, 2016), a statement containing the data reflected the wishes and aspirations of the Arab cities in cooperation to address thechallenges of rapid urban development, especially those resulting from rapid urbanization in the Arab region with what kept pace with that of the challenges of urban poverty and thegrowth of slums and the depletion of resources and environmental pollution. 
 He called the final statement of the conference which was attended by more than 70 Arab city, 200 personalities from various cities and capitals of Arab cities, to take action and todevelop strategies to address the challenges , particularly those of urban development strategies for sustainable and inclusive and seeks to achieve well - being and safety ofcomprehensive human development and enhance the strength of communities andenvironmental sustainability. 
 the statement said that the concept of cities of the future, depends on his vocabulary on thequality of life indicator is essential to the city 's prosperity and prosperity, and this calls forimproving the performance of institutions and municipal bodies. 
 he pointed out that "the Arab cities recorded in many sites successes prominent on theroad to build cities of the future in our Arab region , namely the United Nations and its specialized agencies to share, as well as cities, federations and organizations than it has to be on the agenda of urban development beyond 2015 to go beyond the issue of thedemographic dimension versus research in the major challenges and opportunities that areworking on the formation of cities of the atheist and the twentieth century.
