Discuss ways to facilitate trade between Palestine and Jordan and to encourage joint investment

Nablus (Ina) - The Minister of the Palestinian national economy Abeer Odeh, and the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Jordan Maha Ali, that efforts are continuing to raise thevolume of trade exchange between the two countries, and to overcome all the obstacles that hinder it. 
She stressed Wazzertan during a meeting held in the city of Nablus on Monday, in thepresence of representatives of private sector institutions in both countries, the importance of establishing joint investment projects, and capitalize on the business of privileges and incentives offered by laws governing economic activity in both countries, in particular theinvestment Promotion Law. 
the minister said the return of "there are promising investment opportunities in Palestine, areavailable in front of the Jordanian businessmen the concessions offered by the Palestinian laws private investors to encourage investment law, specifically in the industrial areas that are essential pillar in attracting investments, an important element in the development of thenational economy. 
the return to the strategies worked for the Ministry of National economy, especially in export development, support and development of the national product, and Palestinian efforts to join the WTO, positive international and a desire to support the Palestinian request to join. in 
turn, Minister Ali pointed to the importance of raising the ceiling of commodity quota available for Palestine, which will contribute to raise the volume of trade exchange between the two countries, stressing at the same time ready to work together to remove theobstacles that hinder the possibility of lifting the volume of trade exchange between Jordan and Palestine. 
as Secretary of Jordan confirmed the readiness to support the efforts of Palestine to join theWorld trade Organization, and the maximum benefit from the privileges offered by the Agadir Agreement for the benefit and interest on the two economies , which, she said , will devote all our efforts and our relations to serve the Palestinian approach to engage the system global economy .
