Egypt causeway to boost trade

RIYADH: The Cabinet has welcomed the outcomes of the visit to Egypt by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman during which 17 agreements were signed.
At a Cabinet meeting, chaired by Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Mohammed bin Naif at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday, the ministers said that ties between the two countries have been strengthened.
In this context, the Cabinet said the plan to construct a causeway linking the two countries would boost trade between them and other nations, reported SPA.
The Cabinet praised Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the country’s officials and people for the warm welcome accorded to King Salman and the Saudi delegation during the five-day visit.
The ministers also praised King Salman for his address to the Egyptian Parliament where he stressed its role in boosting mutual relations.
