Hanover (Ina) - called on US President Barack Obama, on Sunday (April 24 / April 2016) to "re -establish" the cease-fire in Syria between the regime and the armed opposition, explaining that he finally consulted with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the Syrian file.
Obama said during a news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, "talked with President Putin earlier this week, in an attempt to confirm that we will be able to re - establish the cease-fire" in Syria, was quoted as saying by AFP.
Obama also said today that it would be extremely difficult to Imagine the success of the so - called "safe zone" in Syria without a significant military commitment. Obama said " the private is not about establishing a safe zone in Syrian territory ideological intercepted on my part. Nothing to do with the order not to my desire to assist and protect the large number of people, it comes to the conditions of theprocess on how to achieve that."
And asked Obama a number of questions regarding such region , including the country in which he can "put a large number of ground troops inside Syria."
with regard to the situation in Libya, Obama said: we do everything to encourage the Libyan accord government , whatever the fragility of the situation.
Obama opens with Merkel Hanover industrial Fair in northern Germany, and following the talks lasted for more than 90 minutes in Hernhausn historic palace in Hanover , the capital of the state of Lower Saxony session.
