UN to call for an "immediate formation of" a national unity government in South Sudan



United Nations (Ina) - The Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki - moon on Tuesday to "immediate formation of a national unity government" in southern Sudan following the return of rebel leader Riek Machar to Juba. 
The return referred to a United Nations aircraft is an important step in efforts international to pay thegovernment and rebels to implement the peace agreement which was signed in August, but it has not yet been implemented.  
he said that the return of Machar and he was sworn in as vice president , "represent a new phase in theimplementation of the peace agreement."  
the Associated Press quoted the French deputy UN ambassador United southern Sudan Joseph mom Malloch saying that the new transitional government should form "within a day or two days of consultations with various parties in the country."  
as Herve Ladsous head of UN peacekeepers at a meeting of the Security Council said that the return ofMachar " We must open a new chapter and allow the start of a real transition. "  
" It is important that the Parties avail this opportunity to show real determination to progress in thepeace process. "  
the US ambassador to the Council 's Samantha power that although the return marked an important step, but the international powers are still aware of the remaining challenges .  
she added that the new government on security sector reform to end the fighting, corruption and implementation of the African Union to establish a special court plans to prosecute war crimes suspects
