Bahrain bans import of birds from Lebanon



   Manama (Ina) - Bahrain announced a ban on the import of poultry and birds of all kinds from Lebanon because of an outbreak of disease «avian flu» there. 
 She said the affairs of Agriculture and Marine Resources Bahraini: It 's taken all thepreventive measures necessary precautions in order to prevent the arrival of such epidemic diseases in the country. 
 and he issued a control animal health department director Dr. Ibrahim Youssef decision tostop all previous import permits temporarily and until further notice, for all kinds of birds and poultry from Lebanon as a precaution against any of epidemic diseases carried by birds. 
 He stressed the ban on the entry of bird shipments from Lebanon today, referring to theissued a circular to all ports and the dimensions of the implementation of resolution incoming shipments immediately.
