Cairo (Ina) called on the Arab League to concerted media efforts of its member states to confront the phenomenon of terrorism , which threatens the stability and security of theregion and the world, as well as work on activating the media Arab strategy to confront this dangerous scourge.
Technical Secretariat official of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information Fawzi Ghwell demanded in his speech before the opening of the fifteenth meeting of the Permanent Group of experts on the follow - up of the role of the Arab media in dealing with the phenomenon ofterrorism, which began its work on Thursday at the headquarters of the Arab League ,headed by Secretary General of the radio and Television Union and chairman of theExecutive Bureau of the Council of Arab ministers of Information Abdul Khaliq Youssef Attia, the need to work on activating Arab media strategy and executive plan , which ranges up to five years.
He stressed the importance of completing the visual media of Arab countries on the plan and ways of implementation in order to tackle terrorism and media cooperation in this regard.
