Tuwaijri: ISESCO chair of the Alliance of Civilizations aims to consolidate religious dialogue and coexistence

Doha (Ina) - Dr. Abdul Aziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), the Secretary General of the Union of Islamic universities in the world, that one of the objectives of the chair ISESCO for the Alliance of Civilizations at the University of Qatar promote dialogue between cultures and civilizations, and the consolidation of coexistence religious, and consolidate the dialogue between cultures and civilizations in thought and knowledge of breeding and education, and the fight against hatred. 
Dr. Atawaihari, in a speech on the occasion of his presidency on Sunday (April 24 / April 2016) opening chair ISESCO for the alliance of civilizations in the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the University of Qatar, in the presence of Dr. Hassan Rashed DRAM university president, Dr. Yousef Mohammad Siddiqi , dean of the college, and faculty members, said that among the goals of this chair as well as "addressing stereotypes about them in curricula and university publications and the media in the Islamic and Western worlds photographs and encourage studies that deal with Orientalism and Occidentalism according to objective methods, thus contributing to enhancing understanding and civilized coexistence, and support scientific research, and to highlight aspects of excellence Islamic cultural cultural, intellectual and radiation , which contributed to the prosperity of humanity and investment in the integration of cultures and alliance. " 
He added that these goals are going to be hubs of this chair to be an instrument of cooperation between these tools the university and between ISESCO and FUIW who works in the framework, and provides academic expertise and cognitive outcome to the students who wish to study closely related to public international status of these issues, in order to gain knowledge and in- depth study, and for therehabilitation of qualified youth has search tools and platforms to spread the culture of dialogue and alliance among civilizations. 
he pointed out that the global interest in the cultural dialogue issues and the alliance of civilization generate it allocates an academic on the Alliance of civilizations issues, his approach, and rules, and branching out his research topics require scientific treatment, and should serve as a hub for university study. 
Dr. Al - Tuwaijri analysis variables in the international arena which necessitated the establishment of this chair, said that the historical critical stage through which the world, exacerbated the regional crisis, and growing international problems, stresses the need to promote dialogue between cultures and alliance among civilizations, in an effort to remove the causes of tensions and conflict mitigation and theestablishment of values international relations on the firm foundations of equality and mutual respect and cooperation. 
he said that since the launch of the General Assembly of the United Nations international year of dialogue among civilizations in 2001, then launched the Alliance of civilizations initiative in 2004, and hasmade ​​her High Commission, and the international attention the cultural dialogue issues and the alliance of civilization does not stop, where will hold the United Nations alliance of civilizations Forum its seventh session in Baku , the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan 26-27 April.
