Myanmar imposes new restrictions on the treatment of Rohingya


Arakan (Ina) - Myanmar authorities have imposed in the state of Arakan new restrictions on the arrival of the minority Rohingya to the city of Yangon for medical treatment, after local sources said that many patients have settled in the city after the treatment in the commercial capital. 
According to the newspaper Aaruaa, the authorities held a meeting with nearly 40 leaders from Rohingya in Sittwe , capital of Arakan state , and informed them of the regulations more stringent imposed on the Muslim minority. 
the transfer news agency Arakan site for Aung Win, an activist in the field of Rohingya rights participated in the meeting, saying that the new regulations stipulate that Rohingyas who suffer from diseases they must visit the general hospital in Sittwe to assess their condition and if the situation necessitated travel ,they must apply for travel permission to Rangoon. 
he said community leaders Alrohnge in Arakan state that the Rohingyas were already suffering before that comes the new restrictions, and they avoided going to hospital in Sittwe, the exposure to discrimination in medical care, which were not equal to the service provided to the population ofBuddhists. 
, said Maung Maung Sein, who is also Rohnge attended the meeting, told the Irrawaddy that the new restrictions would put additional financial pressure on those pressures against Rohingyas who live in thecamps.
