Japan welcomes the resumption of the Yemeni peace talks in Kuwait

 TOKYO (Ina) - Japan welcomed the resumption of the Yemeni peace consultations by the United Nations - sponsored in Kuwait, reported the official news agency of Yemen, on Wednesday (July 20, 2016). 
A statement issued by the spokesman of the Japanese Foreign Ministry, Yasuhisa Kawamura, that it "appreciates a large mediation efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen , Ismail Ould Cheikh. " 
she added that she strongly hopes that all parties in the talks , participate in good faith and commitment to a complete cessation of hostilities and ensure humanitarian access, and to reach agreement leads to a peaceful political process , progress towards stability in Yemen . 
confirmed the Japanese Foreign Ministry , it will continue to turn , and in coordination with theinternational community to provide support for the mediation efforts by the UN envoy as well as theefforts of the parties concerned to peace in Yemen, and continue actively to its activities in humanitarian support to address the acute humanitarian situation in Yemen.
