Trees blocking Saher to be cut

JEDDAH: The Madinah traffic department and local municipality will cut trees blocking Saher cameras from recording violations on the city’s streets.
This is according to Brig. Nawaf Al-Mohammadi, director of the Traffic Department in Madinah, who told a local newspaper that officials were tending to the problem. He said the cameras were vital to keep the city’s streets safe for motorists and pedestrians.
Yahya Saif, undersecretary of Madinah region, said the municipality would cut down trees obscuring the cameras. He urged members of the public to inform the municipality of such problems.
A new company, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Interior, has recently taken over Saher operations.
