According to the popular western media narrative, Iran is now ready to talk to the world – tourist numbers are set to rise, there has been a flurry of high-profile business deals and a recent election saw reformists sweep to victory in Tehran.

But what do ordinary Iranians think about politics? How does it feel to live in the Islamic Republic, long-maligned by the world? Are they misrepresented, and if so how do we remedy that? 100 people living in the country, and across the diaspora, share their views
