The Russian prime minister says there is no evidence that their airstrikes are killing civilians in Syria. Speaking at a security conference in Munich on Saturday, Dmitry Medvedev says Russia is not trying to achieve ‘secret goals’ in Syria, but rather trying to protect our national interests. European leaders have condemned Russia’s airstrikes and called on Vladimir Putin to end them as a precursor for peace negotiations
