KSA ‘providing Syrians with all necessary help’

JEDDAH: The campaign to support Syrian refugees with all their needs is being carried out effectively, as per the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The statement was made by Bader Al-Samhan, director of the Amman-based Saudi National Campaign to Support Syrians, to SPA on Friday.
He said the largest educational project for Syrian refugees in the Zaatari refugee camp is also being implemented in line with these directives. “The project aims to distribute 20,720 school bags and tens of thousands of other educational material among Syrian schoolchildren.”
He said the campaign always seeks to address all needs of Syrian refugees are per the directives of King Salman, and to support the Syrian people.
“Supporting students is key to building the nation, thus the campaign is working on supporting different issues,” said Al-Samhan. 
He said the national campaign also seeks to addressing, including psychological and mental health support for refugees through various medical programs.
The campaign’s office in Beirut, Lebanon, had previously distributed school bags and school supplies to Syrian children at Al-Uruguay School, as well as 450,000 school bags and notebooks and supplies were handed over to Syrian students in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan, he added.
