Palestinian jihadist who ended hunger strike still accepting treatment, hospital says 

Muhammad Allan, the Palestinian who was ordered released from administrative detention by the High Court after waging a hunger strike for over 50 days, continues to receive medical treatment, officials at Barzilai Medical Center said on Wednesday.

Doctors at the Ashkelon facility denied claims by Allan's mother that the Islamic Jihad operative had ceased ingesting medicine as a form of protest.

There were reports that Allan was threatening to resume his hunger strike if Israel continued to refuse his request to be transferred to a hospital in Nablus.
