A source in the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad said on Monday, that the U.S.
had appointed a U.S. military spokesman for the military operations
against ISIS in Iraq.
The source told IraqiNews.com, “The U.S. administration appointed Colonel Steve Warren, three weeks ago, as the military spokesman for America on the ongoing military operations against ISIS in Iraq,” noting that, “Colonel Warren arrived in Baghdad a week ago.”
The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “Colonel Warren’s first press conference will be held next Thursday at the headquarters of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad.”
