New York, Sep.28 (BNA): The Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin
Mohammed Al-Khalifa conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His
Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister
Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince
Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander
and First Deputy Premier, to the Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour
Hadi of good health and to the Yemeni people of security and progress.
This came as the Yemeni President received Shaikh Khalid on the sidelines of the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
The Foreign Minister welcomed the invitation of the Yemeni President to the rebels to hand over their arms, to return to the dialogue table and accept the political solution as thought by the international community, and implement with good faith the UN Security Council Resolution number 2216.
Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain's unwavering commitment to the participation with the brothers in the Arab Coalition for the Defense of legitimacy in Yemen in response to a request from the legitimate president of the Republic of Yemen.
He expressed his satisfaction with the achieved strategic results including the defeat of the coup against legitimacy, and avoidance of Yemen from the external interference.
He reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to the participation in the coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its continuous contribution in all humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people in order to enable the legitimate government performs its responsibilities of providing security and enhancing stability in all parts of the country to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people in development and progress.
On the other hand, The Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi asked the Minister of Foreign Affairs to convey his greeting and his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain for martyrdom of a number of Bahraini solders.
He underscored the pride and appreciation of the Yemeni people to the Kingdom’s efforts and noble sacrifices to safe Yemen which is a translation of the deep rooted relations between the two countries and people.
