RIYADH: Five centuries were scored in round six of the ongoing Saudi Arabian Investment Bank Cricket Tournament (SAIB) Cricket organized by Riyadh Cricket Association.
In the Al-Kharaj League 40-over matches,
Lahore Lions defeated Riyadh Aces by 8 wickets. Riyadh Aces took the wicket first and put up a total of 283 runs. In reply, Lahore Lions successfully chased the target in 28.3 overs for the loss of just 2 wickets. Mansoor played a master class inning of 141 runs. Obaid remained not out on 59 and Fahad got 56.
Amer Holidays lost to Pak Shaheen by 48 runs. Pak Shaheen scored a massive 385 for 9. Faisal played a stunning knock of 121 off just 65 balls. Abdul Waheed 56, Ibrar 68 and Abdul Qadir 60 were the other scorers. Amer Holidays were bundled out for 337 runs. Dawood and Abdul Aziz picked up 2 wickets each.
In the best match of the day, the Shouraim and Sama Steel encounter ended in a tie. Sama Steel posted a total of 341 runs. Ramzan produced an excellent inning of 123 runs.
