The Egyptian government received five million tons of wheat from local farmers

the Minister of Supply & internal trade Dr. Khalid Hanafi said domestic wheat amounts received from farmers this year , higher than the target of 25 percent, indicating that it was estimated It received about 4 million tons. 
he added that this increase is a result of the controls and the facilities that have been provided to farmers, coordination and cooperation with the ministries of Agriculture, trade and Industry and theCouncil of Ministers and those marketed, pointing out that he has been this season disbursement ofabout 14 and a half billion pounds of farmer suppliers , "the equivalent of about $ 1.6 billion "including about 5 billion pounds net direct support for farmers is the value of wheat and the same amount also got it too last year , compared with two billion pounds to support before the last two years.
