Iyad Madani looking conditions of Muslim minorities in China



Jeddah (Ina) met with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Iyad Amin Madani, in his office on June 22, 2016 Li Huaxin, the new ambassador of the Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  
The two sides exchanged during the meeting , views on important regional and international issues, including the that peace and security, and countering extremism and terrorism, and the conditions of Muslim minority communities, such as the Rohingya in Myanmar. 
also asked the Secretary - General on the Uighur situation of Muslims living in Xinjiang province, western China and the fear of the effect on them of not adhering to fasting in this holy month.  
the ambassador said the Secretary-General that the national law of the State supports full religious freedom does not discriminate against the practice of Islamic religious rites. 
gave publication government on freedom of religion in Xinjiang includes detailed information about the government 's efforts to support the religious communities in the province.  
He called on the Organization 's ambassador to send a delegation to the country to see closely the situation on the ground .
the Secretary - General stressed the need to continue regular contacts to enhance communication between the organization and China , bilateral relations and stressed theorganization 's interest in participating at various levels .
