Ould Cheikh provides a road map to end the conflict in Yemen



Kuwait (Ina) - The United Nations envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, on Tuesday (June 21, 2016), his report to the Security Council via video from Kuwait, about the evolution of the Yemeni peace talks. 
He said Ould Cheikh Ahmed Presenting briefing "after talks intensively with the parties heard through carefully to the views of the participants and their fears, submitted a proposal roadmap includes apractical vision to end the conflict and the return of Yemen into a peaceful political process. " 
He added that this perception involves making security arrangements provided for in resolution 2216, and the formation of a national unity government is working on reinsurance basic services and revive the Yemeni economy. 
he added: "as you take a national unity government, under this map, the responsibility of preparing for apolitical dialogue determines loyal steps necessary to achieve a comprehensive political solution, including the election law, and to identify institutions that will manage the transition, and to end the draft constitution tasks" . 
UN envoy stressed that it is essential that the political dialogue and ensure the participation of women and youth as well as the southern political forces, pointing out that the road map provides for the need to establish mechanisms to monitor national and international to follow and support the implementation of what will reach the parties of the agreements.
