RIYADH: Abdul Rahman Al-Sanad, head of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (Haia), has fired the Riyadh branch director, Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Fawwaz, and appointed Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shilail as the new chief. Meanwhile, a Haia statement said the commission will continue redressing shortcomings and upgrading the level of field as well as administrative performances.
