Socotra (Ina) - launched Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation acts UAE, airlift in the second phase of three cargo planes access to Socotra Yemeni province.
The news agency quoted a Yemeni official on Sunday (June 12, 2016), a source in the Khalifa Foundation as saying " the three planes arrived yesterday to Socotra province, carrying 100 tons of food. "
He stressed that the airlift in the second phase consists of 12 aircraft , carrying 400 tons of food for distribution to Socotra Island in the Indian Ocean population.
He pointed out that this aid sent by the leadership of the United Arab Emirates, comes as part of the Ramadan program , which is implemented by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, to help the people of Socotra and fill their needs because of the legacy ofHurricanes "Chapala" and "Meg" of damage in the province.
