Iyad Madani condemned the attacks "Boko Haram" in Niger, Nigeria



Jeddah (Ina) Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned the brutal attack by Boko Haram terrorist on the third of June 2016 on a military base in southeastern Niger, which killed 30 soldiers from the Republic of Niger Poso, two from Nigeria, and injuring 67 others. 
The the Secretary General of the Organization, Iyad Amin Madani, his displeasure deep concern over the continuing violence by rebel groups in the Lake Chad basin, and conveyed his condolences to the governments of Niger and Nigeria and to the families of the victims and wished speedy healing for people wounded. He 
also stressed on the initial organization of the anti - terrorism as an enemy of humanity position. He renewed to continue to support the efforts of the two countries in the fight against terrorism. 
He called on civil Lake Chad Basin countries, which are considered among the most important Member States of the Organization to activate the multinational Combined Task Force as a regional initiative to support the fight and accelerate the defeat of the remnants of Boko terrorist haram which has become a real and threatened the security of the region.
