Kampala (Ina) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Turkey attaches great importance to the security, stability and development of East Africa, said , "We seek to provide support for thedevelopment of African countries through humanitarian assistance that focuses on development in many countries of the continent projects."
This came at a conference journalist with his Ugandan counterpart , "Yoweri Museveni" in the capital ,"Kampala" , where he arrived Erdogan as part of his African tour which will also take him to Kenya and Somalia, where he Erdogan appreciated the leading role played by Uganda during the past years in thefight against Ebola.
He noted Erdogan that Uganda recorded important successes in the health sector, noting that Turkey has provided medical supplies worth $ 5 million to contribute to the fight against Ebola west Africa.
He Erdogan that Turkey has opened embassies in 39 African countries out of 54.
He stressed the Turkish president that terrorism threatens the stability of east Africa, and that racism is an important factor in fueling terrorism, stressing that Turkey will continue its support to the victims ofterrorism.
Erdogan said he and his Ugandan counterpart discussed during their meeting today and future projects related to the two countries, noting that they are in agreement about them, and that the businessmen the two countries will meet today.
he noted Erdogan that Turkey did not have a colonial history in Africa, saying " the relationship that we want established with the countries of the continent, based on equal partnership, mutual respect and profit, and we can invest jointly in all areas of military Kalsnaat, tourism, economy, trade, and agriculture."
in response to a reporter 's question about the cut UN financial support for Somalia, Erdogan explained that such a move is not true, saying , "It is a big mistake to leave countries facing terrorist threats alone, and no matter what United Nations has taken steps, we like Turkey since 2011 are determined not to beleft alone."
he reiterated Erdogan 's assertion that the world is greater than 5 (in reference to members of the UN Security Council), pointing out that it is unacceptable to continue this system , which was formed during world war I conditions.

turn, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni pointed out that the leading role of Turkey has become asource of great inspiration to all African countries, and not for his country only, noting that "Turkey hasmade great strides thanks to its leading role."
said Museveni that "there is a very large potential between the two countries, and can not take advantage of them only through mutual encounters, adding: "We looked at to meet many of the issues today, mostly crowned agreements, and will be followed by the signing of other agreements soon."
