Egypt: 46% of women have experienced violence



Cairo (Ina) - The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics in Egypt, that nearly 46 percent, from the previous women married women have been subjected to some form of violence by thehusband, and about 43 percent of them have been subjected to psychological violence and 32 percent had experienced physical violence, and 12 percent have been subjected to sexual violence. 
this came in a survey the economic cost of violence based on gender in Egypt in 2015, conducted by theCentral Agency for public mobilization and Statistics in collaboration with the United Nations population Fund and the national Council for women - which announced its results on Wednesday at theconference held by the census - was the survey , which Iatbralool of its kind sackcloth comprehensively includes the types and different forms of violence against women and girls in the age group of 18 to 64 years and estimate the economic cost resulting from it, in most Egyptian governorates. 
the survey indicated that 10 percent of former women married suffered physical, psychological and sexual violence before marriage, and up to 17 percent of women forms of violence by al - Khatib current or previous, it reported same percentage , 17 percent, have been subjected to psychological violence, and 4 percent had experienced physical violence and 1 percent have been subjected to sexual violence. 
revealed 43 percent of women who have been subjected to violence by the husband, during the previous year to the survey, for injuries to them as a result of violence.
