Cairo (Ina) - signed for the Arab Human Rights Committee "Committee Charter" on Thursday (June 2, 2016), in Cairo , a memorandum of understanding with the Arab network of national human rights institutions in order to enhance technical cooperation. It was
signed by Chairman of the Commission on Human Rights , Dr. Hadi al- Yami, general supervisor on thenetwork , Dr. Ali al - Marri
said Dr. Yami, in a press statement after the signing ceremony, said that the note comes in theframework aimed at enhancing joint cooperation with the Arab human rights mechanisms , theCommission 's efforts.
he added that the memorandum of understanding included many collaborations notably theimplementation of the programs and activities of the specialized for the promotion and protection ofhuman rights in the Arab world, and to organize training programs for workers in the national human rights institutions to publicize the Charter of the Arab human rights and its mechanism of action, and thepreparation of studies and research common in light of its provisions.
the signing of the MOU represents a response to the strategic objectives set by the Arab Commission for human rights in 2014 in order to achieve the goals of the Arab Charter on human rights and purposes.
