First British tourists from Sharm el-Sheikh land at Gatwick and Luton

The first two flights bringing British tourists back from Sharm el-Sheikh have landed in the UK after passengers were told conflicting information about whether other flights would take off.
Two easyJet flights touched down on Friday – one at Gatwick at 4.25pm, the other at Luton just after 5.30pm – but the airline has delayed another seven UK-bound flights until Saturday.
British tourists who returned to Gatwick described a chaotic departure from Sharm airport, but said they were reassured by their pilot that British intelligence were protecting their plane.
