Egypt flights on hold as UK says bomb may have caused Russian crash

The Russian aeroplane which crashed in Egypt on Saturday “may well have been brought down by an explosive device”, the British government has said.
Flights between Sharm el-Sheikh and Britain on Wednesday evening are to be delayed to allow a team of UK experts to assess security arrangements in place at the airport, the No 10 spokesman added.
The prime minister, David Cameron, is to chair a meeting of the government’s Cobra emergencies committee later in the evening to review the situation.
