Croatian Minister precedent withdraw from the succession race, "Ki-moon"



NEW YORK (Ina) - The Secretary of State Croatian former, Vesna Pusic, withdrew from the running for the post of Secretary General of the United Nations. 
On the reason for its decision, Pusic said, through a statement, said that the chances to win the post ofSecretary - General "unrealistic," she said, according to Anatolia news agency , "my candidacy historic for the position of such is a great honor and pride Balnspa me, and in this context , I found anopportunity to showcase my vision for the United Nations progress." 
She pointed out that some of the names the candidate for the post of Secretary - General assumed various positions within the various institutions of the United Nations, and have the experience, while thesecond group members like her political experience names composed, but it did not previously operate in the United Nations organizations. 
it pointed out that after taking into account the members of the two groups, the chance of gaining theposition is "unrealistic," saying: " I have decided to withdraw from the candidacy for the position ofSecretary - General, and thank everyone who helped me and gave me support, in the running phase. " 
It is noteworthy that several international political figures announced her candidacy to compete for the post of Secretary General of the United Nations, notably the former Portuguese Prime Minister , " Antonio Guterres , "who took over the post of High Commissioner Nations United for refugees ( UNHCR ) for two terms until the end of 2015, as well as Foreign Minister , former Macedonian, Srgjan Kerim, who has served as president of the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2007 and 2008.
