Arrests in Qatif ‘highlight police professionalism’

JEDDAH: The cops who arrested two men for terror attacks in Qatif have been praised for their professionalism and discipline by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif.
Speaking to the director of the ministry’s Public Security department, the crown prince said the men should be honored for their work.
The ministry had on Monday announced the arrest of Haitham Ibrahim Hasan Al-Mukhtar, who was involved in the fatal shooting of two security officers in Sihat on Nov. 18 last year.
Al-Mukhtar was also involved in a shooting on a security patrol in Al-Khalidiyah District, Qatif, on Nov. 9, which saw an assistant traffic commander and two passers-by wounded.
