An EgyptAir plane carrying 55 passengers landed in Cyprus after being hijacked on a scheduled flight from Alexandria to Cairo. A man allegedly told the pilot he was wearing an explosive belt before holding hostages on the plane at Larnaka airport. He was later arrested and officials believe it was not a terrorist incident
